Neojiba is a project aimed at children and young people in vulnerable situations which teaches and practice music in Salvador. Since 2018, we have actively supported the initiative, aiming to promote the development and social integration.
We support the Preservation of the Brazilian Intangible Cultural Heritage by encouraging the practice of capoeira among children and teenagers, through Ginga. This makes it possible to provide these young people with activities and leisure activities in line with a civic education.
In 2019, Wilson Sons was the first Brazilian company recognized with the Maritime Award of the Americas, in the category Green Operations. The award, held by the Organization of American States (OAS), through the Inter-American Committee on Ports, conferred the merit to the Tecon Salvador unit due to the projects of Consumption and Reuse of Water and Wastewater Treatment.
The Sister Company Seal is an illustrative seal granted by Obras Sociais Irmã Dulce (OSID) to companies committed to the cause of the institution, based on previously directed actions. A company will receive the Sister Company Seal proving that actions have been carried out within 1 year with scores that will be recognized in the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond categories. These forms and criteria were established with the aim of achieving goals that improve OSID's results, in addition to bringing it closer to society, specifically companies and their employees.
